Overheard Jenny of Liz and Jenny mentioned that selling options in SPY every month is profitable. It would be nice if there is really such a brainless strategy. I searched and found this video.

Mmm, only 30% capital allocation outperformed buying SPY outright. In addition, maximum BPR expansion in the 11 years of backtest is about 3X. These are rare occurrences. So make sense to just use 30% capital allocation to cater for worst case BPR expansion and avoid margin call.
